Aren't Grandmas great - just when you think you can't pull anymore they come along and push!
I hiked w/ Grandpa Tom, mom & dad out to Martins Cove about 2 or 3 miles roundtrip- we saw a snake and deer along the way
Mighty Pioneers - The wind was against us going out and pushing us on the way in. Martins Cove - Wyoming Pioneers were stranded here at the cove for four nights in a terrible blizzard more than 50 were buried in a shallow grave at Martins Cove
We are off on a rover ride w/ Grandpa Tom - most of the time Grandma & Grandpa walked, rode bikes or horses along the trail but sometimes they used the rovers for quick little trips around the Willie Center
Uncle Jim got an elk and buck in Wyoming hunting - Olivia helped cape the head and she loved to play w/the eyeball!

The Sinks - Lander Wyoming The Popo Agie River disappears into this "cave" and reappears 1/4 mile down stream. However it takes two hours for the water entering the sinks to reappear downstream.

On the Oregon Trail w/ Grandma Judy & Grandpa Tom - we drove about 30 miles along the pioneer trail. This is a monument dedicated to about 15 people that were buried at Rock Creek Hollow after ascending Rocky Ridge in a severe snowstorm.

Masons First Day of Kindergarten

Mason started Imagine That Kindergarten September 3rd he was so excited he wanted to start last week. Aaron & I took him for his first day. He did not want us to get out the car and walk him in. Aaron got out to open the door and he said "Dad I can do it" and wanted Aaron to go back to the car. I took him and Leela the neighbor girl on Friday and they both did the same thing "Don't come In" they said we can do it. Mason opened the door for Leela and in they went. Not even looking back once. Well I don't have the traditional walk your kid to his first day of kindergarten but he sure is getting independent I guess that is what we are trying to raise.
He loves his teacher Mrs. Goodan (Tobin McConnel) and he has 5 other kids in his class. They do many many activities, get to take their own healthy lunch, get to go to Hwy 30 once a month to eat lunch, go to the library, for walks, they have rest time after lunch and get to cuddle with their own blanket & pillow. It is from 8-2 everyday and he seems to be doing ok. I was worried about the long hours but he does just fine. Ok well this is going on and on I don't know much about this blog stuff but I thought Sonya might be happy to see I am doing something on it.
